- let a unique combination of talented specialists and a foreign minister update you.
India is a rising power and will fast become the world’s most populous country. This seminar takes stock of Norwegian business and government actors’ engagement with India and asks how Norway can best contribute to, and benefit from, India’s rise. Focus is placed on the west coast - the most economically vibrant part of India with Maharashtra as the financial and business centre. The seminar assesses Norwegian-Indian cooperation in the spheres of technology, business, education and research.
Panelists will assess themes such as: Can Norwegian businesses survive without Indian IT?; Stories of success and failure: what can we learn from Norwegian business engagement in India 2008-2018?; How can cooperation in education and research support Norwegian-Indian business activities?
The Norwegian Minister of Foreign Affairs Ine Marie Eriksen Søreide will open the seminar.
