This discussion around the fire in the Lavvo is organised to help understand intricate dynamics of this region with a comparative lens on the Nordic Arctic. The seminar seeks to foster a shared understanding and appreciation of the diversity of the Arctic. Our participants will share their deep understanding and wealth of knowledge on the various aspects of the Arctic, from climate change impacts and conservation efforts to indigenous rights and sustainable development. It will also be an opportuniry to learn more the Canadian and American Arctic policies and the processes behind. Our seminar places a special emphasis on youth participation, acknowledging their key role in future decisions impacting the Arctic and the world.
