Renewable energy in Africa - Norway can accelerate the green shift

Africa is a continent with significant potential for renewable energy. Lots of sunshine and large wind resources, in addition to an untapped potential for hydropower. Still, Africa is dominated by a lack of access to energy, with over 580 million people without access to electricity, especially in rural areas. In order to achieve universal access to energy and a sustainable energy system, increased investments and innovative solutions are required.

In order to accelerate the green shift, Norway can contribute in several areas, it requires Norwegian companies and the state to work together. What can Norway do?
